Asante Kotoko was ordered to pay former coach Kjetil Zachariason an amount of $12,425 and GHC660 as compensation after they were found guilty of contract breaches by the player and coaches status committee of the Ghana Football Association.
A two-week deadline was given to the management of the porcupines to settle the debt but failed to meet the deadline.
Reports in the media some days ago hinted the club may face point deductions for failing to settle the former gaffer what is due him.
However, Kumasi FM reports that Asante Kotoko has officially settled the above amount to avoid any further punishment.
