Ghana will play Sudan 2021 AFCON Qualifier behind closed doors due to Coronavirus

Group C of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament is one of the 12 groups that will decide the teams which qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals tournament. The group consists of four teams: Ghana, South Africa, Sudan, and São Tomé and Príncipe.

The teams will play against each other in a home-and-away round-robin format between November 2019 and September 2020.

Ghana will play its 2021 AFCON match against Sudan on 27th March 2020 in Coast Cape Sports Stadium.

According to a close source, the Minister of Youth and Sports told the GFA to write to CAF. The decision is said to have been taken yesterday in a meeting between the FA and the Ministry that the match will be played behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus-Covid19 outbreak globally.
