Guinean striker Naby Keita has shared that it is up to him and other attackers at the club to work hard in order to be better than Sogne Yacouba.
Sogne Yacouba, 28, joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2018 after he had parted ways with Burkina Faso top-flight club Étoile Filante de Ouagadougou.
After a 2-year stay with the Asante Kotoko club, the exciting forward left on a free transfer on the back of a falling out with some of the management members of the club.
The club has since been in the transfer market and has managed to secure the services of Nkoranza Warriors striker Kwame Poku to replace Sogne Yacouba.
Speaking on the addition of the new striker, Naby Keita says he is a good player. According to the Guinean, it is up to all the strikers in the Kotoko team to prove to supporters that they are equally good as Yacouba and can be even better.
“Kwame [Poku] is a very very good striker. The first time I saw him I was very happy for him as a striker. Yacouba who was one of our best strikers is no more with us so we have to show the supporters that we can be like him or even better”, Naby Keita said while speaking in an interview on the Kotoko Express App.
