Pastor Arrested For Not Adhered To Gov’t Orders of Public Gathering Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
A church named Open Arms Ministry located in North Suntreso in the Ashanti region which is Head by Apostle Kofi Nkrumah Sarkodie decided to organize a church service after the president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo passed a law stating emphatically that all church activities and public gathering should be suspended until further notice as a result of COVID-19. As the law was passed, a lot of renowned churches such as Action Chapel, ICGC, The Church of Pentecost among others adhered to the law and suspended their church service.
Thought upon all these, some pastors too were against what the law that the president passed saying, why should he suspend churches from operating and rather allow drinking spots and night clubs to operate fully.
