Nine years of staying home without any hope to further education, the Voice of Adansiman(VOA) a Non - Governmental Organization, has supported a candidate to get admission to the University of Cape Coast.
The move which was supported by Nana Ofori Paaben II, Chief of Aboabo II, worth GHC. 3100, is part of the organization's sponsorship and scholarship program initiated in 2020 to uplift the image of education in Adansi and it's environs.
Nana Ofori disclosed to the media, VOA has come to stay and it is determined to touch the lives of the less privileged in the community.
He added that Voice of Adansiman will embark on a scholarship scheme program that will benefit brilliant students but faces financial challenges in education at all levels.
The newly admitted level 100 student of UCC, Mr. Justice Bekoe completed Obuasi Secondary Technical School 9 years ago and has been home due to financial difficulties. He is now in a glorious mood as he pursues a Bachelor in Education ( Management). Mr. Bekoe, who was led by Mr. Bart Addison on behalf of the organization gave his words of commitment and discipline to the course chosen to enable him to come out with flying colors, adding that he won't disappoint the community and the organization that took care of his admission which he never expected.
