We are ever ready for your arrival; Hearts of Oak to Muntari

The sporting community in Ghana has been hit with rumors over the few weeks about the transfer of Sulley Ali Muntari to Accra Hearts of Oak.

Sulley Muntari who is currently out of contract with Spanish Second Tier side Albacete is one of the most decorated Ghanaians in football history.

There were rumors that the legend is almost joining the 2000 CAF Champions League winners in the Ghanaian top flight.

This rumor was later debunked by the club through their official social media handles.

However, a high profile and a very influential member of the club’s board, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, has hinted seasoned sports journalist, Saddick Adams Obama that, the Ghana international has his jersey reserved in the team.

According to Obama, Dr. Tamakloe said, “For the past 2yrs, we’ve told him we’ve reserved a jersey for him. Anytime he’s ready to play, he knows what to do”

Sulley Ali Muntari is a friend to the club according to the PRO of Accra Hearts of Oak.

He has been seen wearing the club’s jersey a couple of times in training whenever he is in Ghana.

Sulley has won Champions League with International Milan under legendary Jose Mourinho. He is currently unattached and looking forward to finishing his career in Ghana with Accra Hearts of Oak poised for his signature and the clubs' fans are warmly waiting to see the FIFA Club World Cup winner in their team.
